A Daily Practice For A Peaceful Mind

Welcome back to day two of our 21-day journey into meditation as we prepare for the Let There Be Light Conference. The excitement is building as we gear up for this transformative event at Peniel, our 153-acre sanctuary of peace. If you haven’t registered yet, now’s the time to secure your spot.

Quietness, confidence, and strength.

Yesterday, we discussed the importance of quieting the mind and introduced three foundational practices to achieve this: joy, testimonies, and mindful eating. Today, let’s delve deeper into what meditation truly is.

Psalm 46:10 declares, “Be still and know that I am God.” Meditation is the practice of stillness, focusing on God’s truth, and drawing strength from His presence. This stillness transforms our minds, helps us regain confidence, and strengthens us for the journey ahead. It’s a spiritual discipline that allows us to behold God and, in doing so, become more like Him.

Making meditation a daily habit.

Joshua 1:8 commands us to meditate on the Word day and night. Meditation isn’t just a Saturday morning activity—it’s a daily necessity, much like eating or breathing. Imagine starting each day with an hour of guided meditation, grounding yourself in peace and clarity before facing the world.

For those who find meditation challenging, I encourage you to use resources like our Hour Of Meditation (HoM) sessions. These guided experiences, streamed live every Saturday and available on YouTube, make it easy to enter a state of quietness and focus. As you grow in this practice, you’ll find that meditating becomes second nature, just like prayer or worship.

Transforming lives through meditation.

The testimonies are endless—people using HoM to overcome insomnia, reduce stress, and even spark creativity. Meditation is not only a tool for spiritual growth but also a solution for mental wellness. It’s time to reclaim meditation from the world and restore it to its rightful place in the body of Christ.

Practical tips for meditation.

  1. Leverage Visual Tools: Use images or visual aids to enhance your meditation. For example, visualize biblical scenes to deepen your connection with Scripture.

  2. Start Small: Play HoM sessions while doing chores, driving, or winding down for bed. Consistency is key.

  3. Incorporate Daily Quiet Time: Make meditation a part of your daily routine, just like brushing your teeth or eating breakfast.

Let’s make meditation cool again!

The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Let’s lead the charge by making meditation a daily practice, restoring its significance in our lives, and sharing it with others.

Join us tomorrow as we continue exploring the depths of meditation. Together, we’ll learn to quiet our minds, focus on God’s promises, and live confidently in His strength.

Peace In!
