Reclaiming What Belongs To Us

Welcome to the first day of our 21-day journey into meditation as we prepare for the Let There Be Light Conference. This is not just a series of sessions; it’s a movement to reclaim meditation as a spiritual discipline for God’s children. Meditation is not for witches or wizards—it’s a divine tool meant to draw us closer to God and unlock peace, clarity, and strength in our lives.

Why meditation matters.

Many people shy away from meditation, thinking it’s complex, intimidating, or even unbiblical. However, meditation is deeply rooted in Scripture. Psalm 1:2 tells us to meditate on the Word day and night. It’s about quieting the noise, focusing on God’s truth, and creating space for His Spirit to move.

The Three Stages of Meditation:

  1. Quietness
This is where it begins. A quiet mind isn’t the absence of thought but the presence of focus. Isaiah 30:15 reminds us that “in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” Achieving quietness requires lightness—shedding unnecessary worries and embracing joy. Humor, testimonies, and healthy habits help us stay light.

  2. Visualization
Once the mind is quiet, visualization takes over. This is where God plants visions and ideas, aligning us with His plans. You’ll start to see what God wants to manifest in your life.

  3. Declaration
Meditation isn’t complete without speaking life into what you’ve seen. Declaring God’s promises brings them from the spiritual realm into reality. Manifesting, as the world calls it, is biblical—Romans 8:19 speaks of creation eagerly awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God.

Practical steps to quietness.

  • Be Joyful: Laugh, crack jokes, and find humor in everyday life. Joy is a shield against heaviness.

  • Celebrate Testimonies: Remember what God has done in your life and others. Testimonies anchor us in hope.

  • Eat Light: A heavy diet affects not just your body but your mind. Meditate when you’re physically and mentally alert.

Let’s make meditation great again!

This journey isn’t just about individual growth; it’s about restoring meditation to its rightful place in the body of Christ. Together, we’ll learn, practice, and share this gift. Remember, if you can worry, you can meditate—worry is just focused energy misdirected.

Join me tomorrow as we continue unpacking the depths of meditation. Let’s declare together: “I have a quiet mind. I am a trailblazer. I am a child of God.”

Peace In!
